Vid WIP Amnesty:

kuwdora had what I thought was a really good idea about posting Vid WIP/Dead-in-the-water vids that are either totally dead-dead or just 'unsure' dead but that people might be interested in. She's doing hers to celebrate the opening of Dwth, but I'm just doing it in general.

Here is my (incomplete) list of WIP/stalled vids, in rough order of how done they are:


1. Pirates of the Caribbean vid about Elizabeth. Set to "Let Me Fall" by Alexz Johnson. Pretty much done, except that I can't get the vid to color the way I want it to and, so, it hovers in 'not-quite-done' ville.

2. All Over the Guy vid. To "All I Need" by Matchbox 20. The audio cutting is kinda rough and, since it's been awhile since I worked on it, I'd probably want to redo some of those.

3. Doctor Who vid about Ten II/Rose. Set to "Mercy" by JC Chasez. Done, except I'm ambivalent in my feelings toward it.

4. Dark Angel vid about Max and Logan in S2. The song is "Where I Stood" by Missy Higgins. Pretty much done. See: "Mercy" with why it's not been posted.

5. Stargate: SG-1 vid, about Vala (and Daniel/Vala). Set to "It's About Time" by Lillix. Almost entirely done, but the beginning has kicked my ass so entirely, plus I have the tenth season on dvd now, so I should redo it to get rid of the station watermarks.

6. Rome vid, mostly about Atia and Cleopatra; set to the 'diva' song from The Fifth Element. 1/3 - 1/2 done.

7. Dark Angel vid about Max and Logan, set during S1. To "Busted" by Jennifer Paige. Almost 2 minutes done.

8. Verboeten Liebe vid. Christian/Olli. The song is "So Close" by Jon McLaughlin.

9. Torchwood vid. Gwen/Jack/Ianto set to "Triad" by Jefferson Airplane. Almost 2 minutes done.

10. Dark Angel vid. Max Pov, S2 Max/Logan. Set to "Only Love" by Heather Nova. This also feature my attempt to crop DA to be widescreen. Some bits of this, even incomplete as it is, break my heart.

11. Femme Fatale vid set to the awesome version of "Samson and Delilah" that Shirley Manson did in the premiere of this year's Sarah Connor. Currently features Victoria (due South) and Desiree (Smallville).

12. RENT vid, about Mimi and Roger. About 1/2 done. Set to "Hips Don't Lie" by Shakira and... that dude who sings in the song with her.

13. Smallville vid, Lex PoV, Clark/Lex. Set to "End of the World News" by Tom McRae. My tentative summary for this is "Betrayal is a matter of perspective."

14. Dark Angel vid, Logan PoV, Logan/Max. Set to "Helpless When She Smiles" by the Backstreet Boys.

15. Buffy/Angel vid. Angel/Buffy/Spike. Set to "Staring at the Sun" by U2.

16. Smallville vid, Clark PoV, Clark/Lex. Set to "Dam Would Break" by Toad the Wet Sprocket. About a half a minute done.

17. Stargate: Atlantis vid about Teyla. Set to 'Feather Moon' by Vienna Teng. Only a few snippets, but one really cool part... that's about 10 seconds long.

First five requests will have the unfinished vids uploaded and shown to y'all.
