Oh, yes, that was...

That was very enjoyable and grand. I was so upset after "Power", but this episode really did ("It's because you are special," Clark says. *happy sigh*) drive it completely out of my mind (also, when somebody said that if Chloe has kinda taken the place of Comics!Lana, Lana is sorta in the place of Comics!Lori, and that helped).

To start at the end: Davis just killed someone as himself. That's a huge step toward becoming a monster full-time (*pets him*).

(and did you see Clark staring at Lois and the two of them making excuses and both of them are so scared and heartsick and... oh!)

Linda Lake's return was suitably epic.

(he went straight to Lois and after time had flipped back, he went and picked her up on time)

Really, it was... excellent.

(I'm so sad about there being no Lois next week... though there will be Tess. I quite like Tess)

ugh lois comes back for an ep and then she's gone again? fail. i will not be satisfied until lois is in every episode

I know. She's only in another three episodes this season. Which sucks. If there wasn't a Tess, I would be inconsolable.

I've got my fingers crossed for Lois to get 22 in S9 -- I think they were afraid to rely on her because it was the first year without KK and MR as regulars and now that they've seen they can pull numbers without them, they'll put more faith in their current team.

I think it's safe to say that Lois is way more popular than Lana ever was and I truthfully think the episodes with Lana in them this season were the worst of the bunch. When Lana's around it's like Clark reverts back 5 seasons and forgets Lois even existed, much less that he supposedly has feelings for her. And Lex hasn't been a worthwhile character in several seasons, so I don't really miss his presence on the show whatsoever. I think this season has been one of the best and probably benefits from their absence.
