A List of Things (I Want and Can't Have)

1. A third season of Dark Angel (preferably, one where they fix the virus and Max and Logan spend, like, the entire second half of the season having sex). Also, Original Cindy with a transgenic girlfriend.

2. This one is almost certainly not going to happen (but maybe!) rather than flat-out impossible: one of the upcoming Doctor Who specials to be about Ten II and Rose in the alternate universe. With plenty of Jackie thrown in. It would be the most fun thing ever in the history of the world.

3. A pet ferret, probably named Hermes or somesuch. Not practical at this time in my life. I love them, though. Someday!

(quick poll: Ferrets? Awesome animal or most awesome animal?)

4. A new Joss Whedon show...

Oh, wait!

That's actually happening tonight!

Dollhouse starts tonight, right after Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (btw, so much love, especially with the three new and interesting female characters this season).

5. Boomer to come back on Battlestar Galactica. *pokes show with a stick* Come on, it can't be that hard.

6. New Merlin right now. I don't want to wait!

7. Magic powers (especially if they made my eyes glow golden like Merlin's do). That would be so awesome.

I know it's not the same, but they did do three books wrapping up the storyline. The first was a prequel that showed how she came to seattle and met OC, and the two others were set post season two.

I personally thought they were rushed and a few plots didn't make much sense to me, (I won't spoil you, but there's something Logan does in the prequel that he keeps from Max, and It's seemed out of character, done solely IMHO just to keep them apart for longer.) but since it seems it may be all we might get since with the Actors all moved on it unlikely will get a movie ala Serenity.

Anyway that's just my opinion and you might feel differently.

You should definitely check out Merlin. Gwen and Morgana are great, strong female characters and Merlin and Arthur are adorable. Plus, Anthony Head is really great as Uther.

OMG I want a ferret too!! I saw one at a pet store in Denver last Fall and I about died from the cute!! Apparently though they are stinky... and tricksy... and will fight with cats. So... phooey... probably not in the cards.

And hey, apparently they are too busy killing off people on BSG to bring back anyone cool. Tough luck, ballerina.

They are tricksy, definitely. They have a scent, which bothers some people and not others -- I already know that they don't bother me because I worked with some back when I was volunteering at the state zoo.

Well, there's a virtual series where most of that stuff happens. It's been a couple of years since I read it, but I vaguely remember enjoying most of it (though, as with the series, there were a few things that made me go o_O).

As for the books that bastetseye mentioned, I really wasn't impressed by them. There were a few parts that I liked, but overall they were pretty meh.
