butterfly: (*facepalm* -- George)

As far as I'm aware, these episodes don't have titles.

So, this show isn't afraid to get serious and dark. I spent half the episode wanting to smack George, but did end up forgiving him (when Annie and Mitchell did). I've never seen a vampire snuff film used as a plot device before (or, really, at all). That was fascinating, in a really disturbing way.

Did we just... did they just show us that Owen used to hurt Annie? It makes me suspect that he is the reason that she 'awkwardly' fell down the stairs (I mean, I always assumed 'foul play' because of her being a ghost, but I really didn't want the guy she loved to be a prime suspect. It hurts). And, just... oh, Annie, baby.

I want to cuddle them and make it so no one can hurt them.

Mitchell was so sweet and wonderful and lovely this episode. He has completely won my heart over.

It was a really strong episode, completely capturing my attention, even when that meant that I was cringing and telling George to shut up already.

(and I'm feeling the urge to write meta about how the reason the roommates work so well together is because they are all very damaged, but together they make each other stronger/safer. Like a tripod or like how a braid of three strands is so much harder to break than a simple strand on its own)

That's what I'm thinking. I think he definitely had some part in her death. Poor Annie.

I feel so bad for her. And it makes me so glad that she found Mitchell (and George, when he isn't being an idiot).

This is possibly the first vampire show where it's pretty much obviously stated that feeding and sex goes together with vampires, it's heavily implied with other shows (I think with True Blood, although I've only read the books and haven't seen the tv series as yet), but Mitchell pretty much admits it.

Which yeah, does make the Herrick and Mitchell thing kindave gay, but then, it makes things far darker. And I do crave that type of darkness when it comes to vampires.

I don't think Annie has this whole forever and ever thing going, I think there is something she has to face before...well, moving on. I don't think the afterlife would be like that. It doesn't make sense.
