Those of you who recommended that I watch this show totally get gold stars. I found every minute of the pilot episode incredibly enjoyable. Christina Cox is fabulous as Vicki. I love Henry and I think he's possibly the cutest vampire I've ever met (he's like a fluffy puppy! I kept wanting to ruffle his hair.), though he projects this great aura of menace when he needs it. Plus, (OMG!) it has Doug! Or, rather, it has Dylan Neal, who played Doug Witter on Dawson's Creek.
Now I want to go watch the rest of the series (and read the book series that it's based on).

I'm glad I picked the show up. Hope that it'll be around next season.

Date: 2007-11-05 05:50 am (UTC)I'm really pleased that they kept the Canadian-ness of the books, and didn't try to make the characters into Americans. (silly of me, but so many shows made here fake the US, it's a nice change).
Henry is definitely quite nummy..
