If I could only take one movie with me on a desert island (we're assuming that this is a very well-equipped island that comes with a tv/dvd set that has its own infinite source of power that I could, if I were brilliant like the Doctor, turn into a means to escape said island), it would probably be Clue (If I could only take one movie series, then the choice is much harder and, also, it would be the Lord of the Rings, partly because it's so long and thus would kill more time and partly because... dude, I love that movie). Clue is such a fantastic, brilliant, funny movie. I adore every frame. And it amuses me so much that such a great movie is based on a board game (much as it amuses me that such great movies as PotC are based on a Disney ride).

If I could only take one television series, it would be Buffy (but if I could also take a British series, I'd add Doctor Who... all of Doctor Who both new and old, which I would finally have time to watch -- maybe even the audios, despite me not being a 'radio' sort of person).

For books... if I could only take one book, it would be... hmm. Now that is a hard one. There are so many books that I really adore to pieces. If I could only take one book series, it'd be Discworld, no doubt about it.

Single book, though... hmm. Not sure about that one.

God, I spent many summers watching Clue. And loving the fact that there were three endings, even though the idea that Miss Scarlett or Mrs. Peacock did all the murders was just . . . hard to figure out. But yes, brilliant. :-)

Ah, Discworld. So sprawling, so comforting, so thought-provoking. And so very, very BIG. Good choice.

Clue! Ah, I must watch that again sometime.

Indeed. Discworld brings both the funny and the thoughtful and it's very easy to re-read.

I love not only Doctor Who but also the Discworld Series. I just got Making Money but haven't started reading it yet. I want to finish the current book I'm reading (a collection of Ursula K. Le Guin's short stories) first.

I haven't gotten Making Money yet. I'm going to wait and make sure that no one's getting for my birthday first. But waiting is hard. I love Discworld.

Man, I love Clue. HBO used to play it every day back in the mid-80's.

Mrs. White rocked.

Mrs. White is such a great character. "He wasn't a very good illusionist."
