Battlestar Galactica 2x13 -- Epiphanies
Jan. 24th, 2006 10:56 amHonestly, I just assumed that the peace group was something that had sprung up, or at least that became serious, because of Kane and the things that she did and inspired Galactica to do. They used civilian ship as decoys, if I'm recalling the RS1 plan correctly. And yeah, maybe they had the permission of the captains of those ships, but permission from all of the passengers is rather unlikely. So, I figured that some people said -- okay, if our own side is okay using us for bait, maybe the cylons aren't so bad. And that would also explain why the Six from Pegasus was so high up in the ranks -- because it was a really new group.
Didn't like the implications of a Roslin/Adar thing, as I thought she had better taste. Then again, I'm apparently one of the few people who wasn't cheering at the Adama/Roslin kiss (it's his face. I'm sorry, but yes, I am that shallow sometimes) and more uncomfortably flinching back.
Loved the cylon baby commercial. I was just saying, "god, those are so freaky," when its spine started to glow, so I ended up laughing with delight instead. Very cool.
I really want to give Apollo a hug, though it probably wouldn't help. Depression really sucks so incredibly much. He could cope with Tigh in the wake of his father's shooting, while he was being held in the brig, and still keep to courtesy. And now, he doesn't care enough to bother.
