Eeep. I went to catch up on my reading lists and... reached my limit on LJ before I actually hit where I'd left off last time. It really has been too long since I've been active.

I've been thinking of catching up on the most recent season of Sanctuary during the holiday break - any other shows people might recommend? I want to soak in some good television. I miss it but I'm not sure where to begin.

I feel like I should... warn?... everyone that I'm going to one of the concerts that Kris Allen is opening for Lifehouse this Wednesday (two days from now!). There will, I'm sure, be pictures and squee akin to my seeing Adam on the Glamnation tour this recent summer. Since it won't be summer, I probably won't be overwhelmed by heat and need to go sit in the back.

My birthday is on Friday, so this makes for something of a nice present for me.

re: television, I haven't had a chance to watch anything this last week. I might wait until this season of Merlin is over to see if I want to catch up on it.

School is pretty busy right now, plus I'm not sure I ever mentioned on here that I've had a part-time job the last few months. That's taking up some time as well. I do still read my flist every couple of days, but I haven't been feeling the posting energy lately. Not much to say? Not entirely sure. Not much to say that isn't potentially boring, lol. Geeking out on Maya's 3D effects is something that I'm doing to people face-to-face a lot right now (it's so easy!).

Leaving for Vividcon in two days! Excited!

Movies that I was planning on seeing at some (soon) point. Maybe even in theaters!
a. Inception
b. Charlie St. Cloud

Movies that I was spoiled for in entirely unrelated venues:
a. Inception
b. Charlie St. Cloud

Ha, yes, there you go.

I still haven't watched any summer television. But I have it all... around ('all' being White Collar, Psych, and Eureka). I don't know. I don't really have anyone to watch things with right now. Though, ooo, my cousin likes WC, I think. I might be able to get her hooked on the other shows, too (who wouldn't fall in love with Psych? And Eureka can be very good!). Hmm. It's a thought.

I'm not thrilled with some of the compromises but Obama also realizes that this doesn't fix everything and there's more work to do (ETA: and, since my brain of needing sleep forgot to say, it's a vast improvement over the current system!).

Overall, much 'yay'.

Okay, now I will collapse into bed and not think about my long, long day tomorrow.
