I was grinning for so much of The Pegasus Project. Daniel was in Atlantis. Actually in Atlantis. I was so thrilled for him. And then he got the bummer of finding out that the Ancients were going to continue to not help, but he got to give a smashing, passionate speech and be so very much Daniel and I adored him.
Loved Vala and her directness and supportiveness. Adored Cameron's wake-up of Daniel. Found myself shipping Carter and McKay whenever they had a scene together. Teal'c kicked ass in his final scene -- yay for luring ships to their doom.
Very enjoyable, really.

Date: 2006-07-30 03:16 am (UTC)I found myself completely unable to follow whatever they were going to do to tie up the supergate and just went with it, as I tend to end up doing with most so-called science on the show (and science was never my subject, either). I just liked that they were able to take out a Wraith and an Orii ship in the process. That was pretty cool.

Date: 2006-07-30 08:26 am (UTC)I think that I may understand the supergate subplot. They hooked it up to a stargate near a black hole so that it would stay open (and thus unusable) for a very long time (relatively-speaking, because time slows way down as you near a black hole). But because the supergate is enormous, they had to hook up a normal-sized connection first and then force the connection to the larger gate via the explosions.
The big *whoosh* taking out the Orii ship was mega-cool, I agree. Yay for Teal'c! That was his one thing of the episode.
