I'm so glad that there's new Supernatural and Smallville tonight. Partly because I just love the shows and partly because there's little chance that my favorite characters will be cruelly and permanently separated. Have I mentioned not being over Rose yet? Because I'm really, really not over her.

Sadly, I don't think that there's any Lois in tonight's Smallville (but she's always there in the credits, which is a comfort), but both Sam and Dean will be in Supernatural and I really do love Clark (and I'm really adoring Lana these days, too).

I... am beginning to feel that way as well. Because my love for her on rewatch is even stronger than it was before. And I miss her so much in the new season. I can feel the ragged edges around the Doctor's hearts.

No Lois? She hasn't been around recently. *pouts* But yay, Sam, Dean & Clark! (Ooooh, crossover!)

And I'm right there with you on the not being over Rose yet. Wah. It's all very well for Old Skool Who fans to say that it's just something to get used to in Who fandom, but, sorry, I can't get used to it that easily. Even though I do (mostly) like Martha.

I know! I miss her! I really hope that they sign Erica up for the full season next year.

Indeed. And the show has more emotional depth now. With what they've done with the Doctor's character, it would be a disservice to take him backwards.

Yeah. Know the feeling. I mean, I’m still not over losing Jack. I cried when Mickey stayed behind in Pete’s world. And people want me to get over losing Rose? On a cold day in July, maybe. Still, last night’s episode of Supernatural made me laugh.

Indeed. Rose really was just... great (and I do really miss Mickey and Jackie and missed Jack until Torchwood aired) and I'm not ready to be over her yet. Perhaps I won't ever be. Certainly not as long as the show reminds me of how much the Doctor lost when he lost her.
