butterfly | Update: silence, television, Torchwood (Reply)

So, you may have noticed a bit of radio silence from me -- posting and commenting seemed... impossible for a time. I was sick for about four days in the middle of it all, but not all of it and not the beginning. Anyway, I plan on responding to all outstanding comments before I go to bed tonight and shall do my best not to fall into bad habits as the television season starts up again.

Speaking of television, I am ultra excited for what's coming up -- Smallville's recent promo featuring Lois Lane (viewable on YouTube) has gotten me incredibly eager for this Thursday's episode, while my desire to see what's next on Supernatural has remained sharp since Croatoan aired. I've really been enjoying both Smallville and Supernatural a whole bunch this season and I'm really looking forward to seeing the rest of the season unfold.

I'm also really excited for the return of Numb3rs, Bones, and House, though not in a particularly fannish way.

I watched the last two episodes of this season of Torchwood and adored both of them. I loved that his experience with Diane has continued to impact Owen, I loved all the emotional continuity that was used as a knife in End of Days, and then I just about died when I saw Jack's face as the TARDIS sounded.

Loved both the Rose (Bad Wolf) and Doctor references that we got in the episodes and I'm really looking to see the fallout when Ianto (who was part of Torchwood One) finds out that Jack (probably) left with the Doctor. All sorts of excitement, I tell you.
