Me, complaining about people complaining... again

A lot of people at TWoP complained that Season Six lacked metaphors.

Then they turned around and complained that Willow's magic problem was just like drugs only there were mistakes.

Um... hello? Metaphor. Not exact. Vampires started as a metaphor for the daily problems of teen life. Shockingly enough, it's also not an exact metaphor.

Seriously, that was such a metaphor for addiction. That doesn't mean that it needs to follow the mold of a specific real addiction.

I've been looking for a way to say that since before I left TWoP. Still not sure if I made it clear.

Hee. I love that we both left and so neither of us knew that the other had.

I hung out at the metaboard for a while, but that didn't work for me... to unregulated.

So, now, I basically just hang out on lj and at All Things Philosophical On BtVS.
