Rest in Peace works a lot better when I can't see the B/S-age.

I'm fully willing to admit my biases.

Love that they cut out all the non-sung words. No Dawn repeating Buffy's words!

Anyway. Reviewage. I'll only go over the new stuff or stuff that hits me differently sans words.

Under Your Spell
Much as the cut-off version in the episode amuses, I love hearing this in full.

I'll Never Tell
Unsurprising, my favorite line:
When things get rough, he just hides behind his Buffy. Oh, look, he's getting huffy 'cause he knows I know.

I love singing along to this. I can do Anya's part very easily.

The Parking Ticket
So amusing. I love being able to hear this without the conversation on top.
I've had a bad, bad day.
Come on, won't you put that pad away?
I'm asking you, please, no.
It isn't right, it isn't fair.
There was no parking anywhere.
I think that hydrant wasn't there.
Why can you let it go?
I think I've paid more than my share.
I'm just a poor girl, don't you care?
Hey, I'm not wearing underwear.

Rest in Peace
Did they improve the background score? It sounds... fuller. Fits the sound of James' voice better.

Dawn's Ballet
This really creeps me out when there aren't any visuals.

What You Feel
Loved that they edited out the conversations. Just here for the songs, thank you! Love Hinton Battle (Sweet). Dawn's voice is very innocent and sweet here. Very appropriate.

Standing
Major honesty time: This song makes me cry. It's "I wish I could lay your arms and let you rest at last." I cry.

Under Your Spell / Standing - Reprise
And then this makes it even worse. More sniffles.

Walk Through the Fire
I just adore this song. Works perfectly for me. All the voices just... perfect. Xander and Anya putting the rest of the group into motion. Then the mixing of the different voices. *sigh* Love it.

Where Do We Go From Here?
I like hearing this without the B/S interruption.

End Credits (Broom Dance / Grr Arrgh)
Love the 'Broom Dance' music. So musical-typical.

He really does have a beautiful voice.

And he sounds marvelous dueting with Amber.

I didn't realize that the end credits music and the broom dance music were the same until I bought the CD. Nor did I realize until I'd listened to it a few times that it's just a jazzed-up version of "Where Do We Go From Here."

Oooo. Cool, I hadn't realized that last bit. Neat. I love learning about these things.

Also, I love the icon. It makes me giggle.
