due South: more circling CotW thoughts

The last episode of due South ends with Stan Rogers singing The Northwest Passage. This is extremely important. As far as I can recall, the final part of Call of the Wild is the only episode that doesn't end with the theme song to due South.
And this makes complete sense, because it's not true any more. Benton Fraser isn't 'due South' any more. And thus, Call of the Wild isn't about the end of the series but about a beginning.
"Ah, for just one time, I would take the Northwest Passage to find the Hand of Franklin reaching for the Beaufort Sea; tracing one warm line through a land so wide and savage, and make a Northwest Passage to the sea."
Anyway, just another small thing that makes me realize just how perfect the ending to the show is.
Man, I get so hyped when a new Buffy is just hours away.
