butterflyI do try, but I'm not reliable. I don't answer post or emails for days at a time sometimes. I almost never go on aim. I don't post comments anywhere near as much as I'd like.
I don't have one of the best qualities of a friend, because I'm not State Farm and I'm not dependable. I'm much more a Buffy than a Xander and Buffy definitely has a better handle on the friendship than I do.
I do have many good qualities. I'm funny. I'm polite. I'm good with children.
But I'm still very much a kid, despite being 20. I'm not reliable.
I guess the reason that I'm posting this is to say that if I don't respond to you, it's almost certainly not personal. I probably saw something shiny and got distracted. Or I couldn't get on my mom's computer (my own computer shuts down when more than one internet window is open - which happens automatically when I respond to comments).
Which doesn't excuse the many times that I take forever to do something or fail to do at all. It's not an excuse, it's just an explanation.
It's not you, it's me. That kinda thing. It's not personal.
I actually do have a brain that officially works on scatter. Scatter... something. There's an actual word for it. I can't find words, I forget things unless I mark it down three ways from Tuesday. I have a five-page report on it somewhere.
