Wow, Buffy is very upset over Xander's eye. I almost cried when she touched his face in that picture she had at her work. And she was working to get out of the hospital and as far away from Xander being one-eyed as she could in that scene.
I have UPN, though. Twice so far, they've squished Buffy up so that they could put first a weather warning and then an ad for Platinum at the bottom. I'm never watching Platinum and some of the reason is that horrid ad in the middle of my show.
Dude. This is really good.
Damn, another weather warning. I hate UPN.
Oh, ouch. I really wanted to hug Buffy. It's been a while.
Okay, the preview for next week made me roll my eyes.
Welcome to Spoilerville
Date: 2003-04-29 09:33 pm (UTC)I had a tear at the end. I mean, dude! Mutiny! Big, big ouch, but completely understandable. Especially considering that her plan was pretty much "Let's walk into Caleb's trap."
OTOH, I'm usually a big fan of repeating what worked before - when appropriate. But you know, she wasn't so much a general before. She was more an actual leader, where she and the scoobies researched and debriefed before she chose the plan. This time, she pretty much came up with it all on her own. Also, the distrust thing, IMO, may have been stewing since Once More With Feeling. Stupid Giles. Doing things alone makes you weak and stupid.
