...have a vid recommendation!

The Boy Is Mine kills me. It's a Cordy/Connor vid and I adore the concept. Everyone else wants Connor and Cordy isn't letting them have him because the boy is hers.

Warning: This recommendation was made on little sleep and too much caffeine.

It's almost certainly the concept. I'm sure that the vid could be better done, but I spend the entire vid giggling so... I'd love to see a tighter, more pov-strong version, but the concept itself amuses me. I'm easy to please. Especially late at night when I've had too much Pepsi and have been releasing endomorphins into my system via mild cutting.

I may not like the vid in the morning, when I'm actually awake in all ways.

yes, yes! You got what was niggling at me, and so the Pepsi hasn't curbed you TOO much. ;) hehehe. The POV was all wonky, and that's one of those things that kills a vid for me. I can take unpolished editing and some clips that linger much too long, but if the POV isn't tight I'm left bewildered and alienated.

Point of view is very important. Because, yes.

Um. Wait. Let me de-JC-ify my brain.

*pause*

Right. Because a vid is a story. And consistent pov is a very important element in any story. If your pov shifts, it needs to be either very clear or part of the point of the vid should be the shifting pov.
