Let's talk about vids.

First, something totally unrelated: At this moment, 69% of the voters on buffyupn.com think that Giles didn't make a mistake letting Wood go after Spike.

Onto the subject. Now, I haven't made any vids. Will this stop me from talking about them as if I know the pain and agony that goes into creating them? Probably not.

I have 55 Buffy vids saved on my computer so that I can watch them many times. Most, if not all, can be found on buffyvids.com.

One of them is Buffy/Spike (and only that one). And that's a 'wow these two people are bad for each other' type vid. It's to Sarah McLaughlin's Ice. And I really need to mention that I adore that woman. She has some of the best 'this relationship is so fucked up' songs. The song is gorgeous and absolutely perfect for the B/S season six 'relationship'.

So what makes me enjoy a vid? Well, if I hate the song, that I won't be able to watch the vid. I also prefer to watch vids that explain/expand on actual canon. I'm not a big fan of constructed realities. Although, there is one Spike/Riley vid that I enjoy despite that: The One that I Want. Perferred subjects depend on fandom. I'm big into romantic vids in Smallville, but in Buffy I prefer character studies or whole-cast vids. Out of the few Farscape vids that I've seen, I've enjoyed the ones focusing on John. Probably because I've only seen six eps. I'm not that up on fandomness. (although, there are so many John/Aeryn vids out there that I'm instinctively rebelling against it)

You must, must, must watch the Spuffy vid "I Touch Myself" because it's fucking hilarious. The point is not the Spuffy, but the popups! Like on PopUp Video! heeeeeeee. Little statistics, and I love this video so much that I'm jumping up and down and giggling at the thought of it.
