hp100's Dead Letter Challenge. Man, I'm writing today.

Dear Harry,
If you're getting this letter, then I'm dead. I hate to break it to you like that, but I'm not one for beating around the bush.
I just want you to know that I'm very proud of you, and James and Lily would be, too. They loved you more than anything, but you should already know that.
I'm sorry that I didn't get to know you. I wish that we'd had more time, godfather to godson.
I'll always be grateful to you for saving me. And I don't just mean from the Dementors.
