Tonight's Buffy and Smallville

butterflyI love my preview channel (zap2it). There's only so much room for a half-hour show to take up, and the main actor's name shows up on the second line, so Rules for Dating my Teenage Daughter shows up as Rules for Dating John Ritter, which never fails to crack me up. And it plays music, not commercials or shows.
Hee! See, even if I haven't been happy with Buffy, her pulling the weapon out of the rock while he's all making threats is just funny. You go, Buff! And the weapon looks prettier this week. Very pretty, actually. I kinda want it. It's shiny and red and has a handy stake handle.
See, and maybe I should be mad that Buffy saved them all, but! Hero music! Tough woman fighting! Pretty weapon! And I really wonder what Xander was thinking. He went off from the rest and was thinking. What about?
Platinum must be sucking in the ratings, because they are pushing it.
Okay, the Buffy/Xander thing almost made me cry. And! She told him to take away Dawn! That's so sweet. And the Dawn/Xanderness was good, too. But, dude! B/X were just joking like they haven't since... end of First Date, when Giles made them stop.
*frowns at Giles*
And dude, I'm in love with the pretty weapon.
Okay... interesting. I'll have to think about this more. Also, the Spike/Buffy scene was too long. Content-wise it didn't bug me (possibly because part of me is going, "Angel! Angel's coming!" every five seconds, and how wierd is that?), but it just lasted too long.
What the fuck? Dawn is evil! She hurt Xander, therefore, she must beevil Evil. No other answer.
Okay. Cool. Buffy! Angel! Kissing! I was never so excited about them. Now I'm all, Eeee! Buffy/Angel! Pretty!
Next week looks to be interesting.
Ooo. Interesting beginning with Lex and the doctor.
Hmm. Clark and Lana are being cute. I'm suspicious. Aw. That's actually very sweet of her.
Aww... poor Clark. He's all sad adoptee.

And Lana's still being sweet.
Also? Five? Hey, KK actually participated in that kiss a bit. Good of her to do that.
All in all, they actually had some sweet chemistry there. I'm fairly shocked. And really, if they could have been doing that in all the Clana scenes, we'd have hated them much less. Well, some people more, but mostly, less.
Hee. The Martha and Clark scene is way too cute.

Awww. He wants the Kents to be his family. So sweet.
Wow. Lana sucks at a poker face.

And where did Dawn get a taser from? And Xander? Ouch.
One more thing, if Caleb and the First were able to merge together and his power and strength increased, how can he die with one slash across the stomach? Did the First leave the body by then?
I missed Smallville so I don't really have comments on that.
