And the Bobby/Rogue stuff was more interesting this time around. The kisses in Bobby's house, particularly. Bobby had to pull away from her. I'm not sure that Rogue could/would have broken away in time on her own.
And the first scene with them, where they almost kiss and then she completely ditches him when she hears the motorcycle come up the drive. Not to mention that she slept with the dogtag around her wrist - either that or the reason that she took longer than the other students to get out was because she was saving the tag. Either of which would amuse me.
Still haven't figured out Logan's reaction to Mystique's turn as Rogue. There's an element of "That's too far." in it, I think.
Adored the Pyro/Iceman/Rogue thing. Envy and longing and a touch of resentment from John.
Again, I love the Jean/Phoenix thing. The flirtation with Logan annoyed me this time around, because... Scott is way cool. And she's kissing someone not-Scott. When she's with Scott. I mean, I know that it's Wolverine, but still. Scott is just as cool, in a different way.

But Scott loves her so much and if she wants to go around kissing other guys, she can darn well break it off with Scott first, so that there isn't a chance that he'll find out and be even more hurt.

And I love the icon.

And, there's a whole sequence showing Cerebro's effects on various mutants worldwide, and then their reactions to humans suffering the same thing, and, yeah. Way cool.

Date: 2003-05-07 01:48 am (UTC)I saw above that you're a Bobby/John and Rogue/Logan 'shipper. Have you read the awesome On Love and Lust at Mutant High (http://seperis.illuminatedtext.com/llindex.html) series, by Jenn? If not, you should - it's *fantastic*. It's not really a series, as much as a really long story broken down in to parts, or whatever.

Date: 2003-05-05 09:14 pm (UTC)Then again, Mystique copies everything about someone: even their handprint when she wouldn't have been able to study it (Deathstryke(?) in the lab). Why wouldn't her body copy the smell as well?
