Ah, such a wonderfully specific subject line.

I'm resisting the urge to do a Spike icon set to Love Don't Love Me (Justin Timberlake). Still - "Green eyes that cut like a knife", yo. I could use chained-up!Buffy. Still, doing an icon set is another slip down the slippery slope of liking a character (I did one for Angel a few months ago and I've got a naked icon of the guy now). I've already written him, I don't need to be staring at pictures of him for hours. It's very much a 'Soulless and Pissed Off That He's In Love With Buffy' Spike song, though.

I've written the Connor part of the next section of After the Fall. Connor's the easiest. Angel's hard. Even with the massive liking I have now, he's still hard. I feel like I barely know him. This is what comes of pouting and refusing to watch a tv show because you have a miff with the plotline (Doyle's death - which gave us Wesley; Connor's birth - which gave us... well, Connor; and Angel doing the dream thing (Awakening, the spoilers sounded lame) which was full of meaning into Angel's mind). I really should learn to trust the Angel writers.

I have the day off from work tomorrow and will sew. Also write, but I need to sew. Unless I want to be buying all new clothes which I cannot afford just now. So, sew. Hee! I amuse me.

It's really intersting to see which characters writers find hard. IMO, from what I've read very few people can do Connor well - [livejournal.com profile] yahtzee63 is a natural. Angel also appears to be pretty hard to write - a lot of people just don't get him, including a lot of the writers *g*.

I can't wait for more drabbles. Drabblage is good. What? It's a word!

Angel's all complicated. Connor's complicated, too, but in a very teenage way, and I can remember what that felt like. Angel's martyr complex is a little less familiar to me.

And if it wasn't before, drabblage is a word now. What else has Buffy taught us, if not how to modify words?

Glad to hear that you're enjoying the drabbles.
