In Awakening, they showed us that the people that Angel cared most about making family again were Connor, Cordy, and Wesley. And of those three, it looks like only Wesley is going to be around next year.
I mean, I adore Connor, but I also like the idea that Angel has nowhere to focus his need for a family but Wes. Especially since they are, as mentioned above, soinlove.
*wonders about the possibilities of a Buffy/Xander/Angel/Wesley foursome*
Hmm.
Nah. Wouldn't work out. Buffy wouldn't respect Wesley. Xander and Angel would be always making with the petty competition. Shame, because it's such a pretty mental image.
