butterflyI just let out a raccoon. Which was in our utility room. Eating our cat's food.
My room is next to the utility room, so I got woken up by all this noise. I open the door, and there's a raccoon there, and all the food's gone.
Anyway, I think that my opening the inner door shut the outer door, so I had to go around to the outside to open again so that the raccoon could leave.
Then I locked the outer door to the utility room and I doubt that I'll forget about doing that again.
A raccoon! Wish I'd taken a picture. Though that might have been inadvisable. How do raccoons feel about getting their picture taken? Do they leap at flashes of light? Can raccoons even leap at all, now that I think about it? I don't think they can. They climb.
Anyway, I've now officially been just a few feet away from a raccoon.
On a more fandom-y note, I finally saw I've Got You Under My Skin and now I want to just hug everyone (especially Wesley, though) so hard.
