Have finished the first season of 'Friends'

Wow, I'm so not a Rachel/Ross 'shipper. Though I can totally see why they put Monica and Chandler together eventually because those two are so cute together.

But yeah. Ross goes away for a week. Falls for someone else. Oh, yeah, his love for Rachel is the Real Thing all right. Meant to be. Soulmates.

Pfft. Only in the Dawson/Joey sense of 'not in any way at all'.

Rachel and Joey continue to be my two favorite friends, though I do like all the others (including Ross now).

Jennifer Aniston was one of the most adorable women alive. She may still be, but I haven't watched those seasons, so I do not know. But yes, so adorable.

Have to see "The One with the Prom Video" in season two to really get it. They are soulmates.

Maybe I'll see it in S2. I'll try. But Ross seemed to be more about his image of Rachel than the actual Rachel in S1.

But yeah, I don't really remember season one all that much but the events leading up to them getting together (so basically, what season two?) was just right...Them being together was just sweet.

I'll have to re-watch the first few seasons to really see if I feel the same way now.

Chandler is by far my fave character and I was so rooting for him and Monica to get together from the beginning. There was just something there from the beginning -- Not romantically speaking but, like, friendship wise...I can't explain it.

I totally agree re: Monica and Chandler. When he offers to marry her if she isn't married at 40? I totally died of the cute.

But yeah, I'll find out soonish if I can buy R&R in S2, since netflix's turnaround is pretty quick.

Ross just doesn't... when Rachel lost his monkey, he said some mean things about who she is. And I really got the feeling that he meant it but is blinded by the image of the hot friend of his sister from high school. He likes her, but not as much as he thinks he does, I don't think. She'd drive him crazy after a while, is the impression I get. Not compatible. And seriously, I get why she figured he wasn't interested in her. She told him she'd be fine with him asking her out, and a season later, he still hasn't. His fear outweighed his passion for her.

I'll have to re-watch S1 because I seemed to have forgotten all this stuff and I'm not sure if I like S1 Ross.

Not that I ever really loved Ross, I was just always a sucker for an unrequited love storyline.

Ah, I like unrequited love when it's unrequited for a reason. Ross was just too scared to make a move after he'd already had the okay from Rachel to make one.

I'll probably like it more from Rachel's end, as she looks to have an actual reason not to tell him these things (his cute new girlfriend).

So very adorable. And so are Monica and Chandler. I'm looking forward to seeing their relationship develop and grow and become a relationship.
