butterfly | The longer version -

But not too much longer, for I must go pick up my brother and then go off to dad's for the day.

So, I went over to my mom's new place - which is really nice. Hadn't ever seen it before and it's really cute.

So, once Grandma and Mom and Bob and Kris and I were all gathered, we went off to the restaurant and I cannot remember how to spell it at this point in time.

Anyway, when we got there,

jic was there, which totally surprised me in the best way. And later,

thessaliad showed up, which was also, a totally cool surprise. I hadn't a clue my mom'd invited them. It was so great. Tony (old friend, whose mom is old friends with mine) and his fiancee Brenda also came, but the traffic was evil last night and they were pretty late. But it's always wonderful to see Tony.

Dinner was great and people gave me some wonderful things and I'm running out of time, so I'll hurry things up.

So, after dinner, I went to see Love, Actually with

jic and

thessaliad and verily, it ruled mightily. So many very attractive men in that. Mmm. Great film.
