But! I did get four Tolkien-related books - J.R.R. Tolkien: A Beginner's Guide (by Andrew Blake), Tolkien's World (Randel Helms), and - joy of joys - The Book of Lost Tales; part one (Tolkien! - first form of the Silmarillion. Well, the first part of it, at least) and The Annotated Hobbit (*insert giddy sounds of bliss*).
I think that first I will read the beginner's guide. It's short, and well, a beginner's guide.
Just something that amuses me - back when Season Four was winding to a close, I said this in a comment: "Lindsey! Who would I kill to bring Lindsey back? Who wouldn't I kill to get Lindsey back?"
Hee. I'm just glad that I didn't have to resort to homicide.
Hmm. And at that time, I had 150 mutual friends - now the number is hovering around 300. Man. Time, with the flying.
