Harkening back to earlier things

If anyone needs a refresher on the song that Eve was singing - it was L.A. Song from Dead End. The one that Lindsey did at Caritas. And it does seem to fit his relationship with Eve - she gave him love, but all he really cared about was getting at Angel. The bolded lyrics are the ones that Eve sings.

This is brilliant, thank you. And it puts a whole new spin on Eve and Lindsey, because did she know how much he was using her? And then again, the Angel-making-people seemed to have had an arc in mind for Lindsey when they had him sing that song at Caritas. Yay Angel-making-people ::g::

I think she had a feeling - "[Angel's] still the center of your world" - but she wanted to believe.
