Personal Update
Mar. 15th, 2004 11:44 pmOnce I've spent two days offline and haven't jones'd at all, it's probably safe to say that I have only a healthy affection for it all. Good, because I'm not in the mood for an addiction.
Spent most of today at work, but yesterday was all about relaxing. I watched most of the fifth season of DS9 (which I adore so very much). I'd never seen many of these episodes. I only remembered The Ascent and Dr. Bashir, I Presume, which are both rockin' episodes, but so are many of the ones that I missed. In the Cards is one that springs to mind, though probably that's partly because it's the second-to-last episode and thus fresh in my mind.
Tonight I'll probably catch up on reading lj -- I'm going to try to respond to comments, but I may be too tired. If not, they will keep until tomorrow. Livejournal isn't exactly an emergency line.
I'm scheduled for over forty hours this week, which means overtime, which is good in many ways but means that I won't have a lot of time to spend online.
In other news, I'm thinking of writing an essay about science fiction doctors, which would mainly be about Star Trek's various medics, but would also be about Simon (Firefly -- Mmm, Simon.). A bit of a compare/contrast piece to remind myself what school is like, as I've two writing-related classes next term.
I actually have nights off all the rest of this week, so I'm thinking of actually checking out a bar, since I'm legal and such. Hmm. Also, this means that I can actually watch Wonderfalls on Friday. Now that I've missed it, I rather want to see it, in case I'm missing something that I'll like.
