I got into the fandom less than a year ago, and was a rabid Daniel fan, but I'm a little more sane now. I've come to love Jonas, too (should I even tell you about Jonas?). Ah, you will learn about Jonas. Generally, most Daniel fans are anti-Jonas, especially the J/D slashers, but really, give him a chance. He's kinda cute, even.
As far as sites go, stargatefan (http://www.stargatefan.com) is usually my first stop. They've got screengrabs, episode synopses, transcripts, though not everything for every episode. otherplaces (http://www.otherplaces.net) is a favorite, too.
And icons? stargate_icons is a good place to start. There's some good talent over there, representing a multitude of ships, even the odd faction of slashers that have started inanimate object slash. Siler/Wrench OTP! Daniel/Rock 4 EVAH!
