Jun. 6th, 2004 11:48 amHad a really fucked up dream last night. I had a sister, who had kids, who had died, and she was blaming it on me because they died trying to be quiet after she told them to be good until I got there to visit. She spent the dream trying to convince me that this was my fault.
Fucked up dream, yo. I have neither sister nor kids of sister.
I'm going off with my dad to see the new Harry Potter today, about which I have heard many things.
I've found The Sims again, which is bad, as it threatens to eat my life.
Query -- Are there still people on my friendslist who both a) lack watchage of the Angel season finale and b) are unspoiled as to the main event of that episode? I'm horrible at remember time, and I know that at least one person asked me to wait on posting any spoilers outside lj-cut.

Date: 2004-06-06 07:08 pm (UTC)I don't know what sister represents in dreamland. I also am not convinced that everything is the same symbol for everyone.

I think Freud is right about dreams being wish fulfillment - usually repressed wishes. If its a bad dream, like yours, it can be a wish for punishment, or else the things/people in the dream can represent other stuff - sometimes the connection between the thing and what it represents can be as tenuous as having a similar-sounding name. Probably only you, or someone who knows you quite well, would be able to analyse what your brain is telling you. At least a bad dream makes waking up a relief! (Always look on the bright side....)
