butterflyI've been distant recently. There are a couple of obligations on here that I haven't fulfilled (and I will, if you still want me to -- I can understand if you've become impatient), because... well, I've said this on a closed flist, but not publicly. I started cutting again recently. Simple as that. Diving headlong into Stargate has helped a little -- I don't ever feel the urge to hurt myself when I'm being fannish. Or, in the one case where I did, I got myself out of the situation and I haven't gone back.
So, when the choice was between wrapping myself in the idea of Daniel Jackson (as I once did with Buffy) or hurting myself, I tried to chose Daniel and Stargate. Which has, I might note, resulted in the purchase of four seasons of SG-1, counting the two seasons that I bought today (one and six, for the curious).
I've actually been fighting a low-grade headache all week. Today, it's finally gone. I woke up and it was finally gone. I'm hoping that that's a sign.
And that would be why I've been a little short lately.
