So, I now have a car. Of course, it being Monday, I have to wait until tomorrow to take it through DEQ and get tags (right now it has expired Pennsylvania tags), but I don't have to hitch a ride home from work anymore, so I am thrilled. Also, I like the color.

Stargate continues to be the shiniest show in existence for me at the moment. Daniel! Jack! Daniel! Teal'c! Daniel! Jack! Daniel! Sam, when she's not being annoying! Daniel!

There's a theme there, somewhere. Can't quite put my finger on it.

So, jic, I am off Saturdays and Sundays from now on. Are you free sometime next weekend?

Congrats on the car!

Yeah, all the recent stuff on my flist about Stargate--one of those shows I always meant to catch one day, but never did--finally convinced me to put all available seasons on my Netflix queue and they've just started to come in! Of course, this would happen when I've no free time to watch DVDs whatever, but so far I'm enjoying what I can catch. Especially of Daniel. I'm saving up thoughts for a critical evaluation when I finish season 1.

It's so wonderful to have control back in my life. Though, lack of control is a good... fuck it, I'm glad to have the control of when I can go places back.

Yeah. He's... pretty. And he has a character arc, which is rare in Stargate. And he's very passionate and principled and intellectually arrogant at times. These are all things that appeal to me.
