More AU Brainstorming...

butterflySo, I finally figured out what the replicators and the Goa'uld are up to in my AU. Which is good, because that's what had me stuck. I will now be able to race forward.
Special bonus: No badly-written Gemini in my story. It starts after Endgame.
I'm now thinking that it's actually going to be a three-part story. Mostly because I want each of the characters to get a real chance to shine, so I want to build up to the finale by having 'lesser' battles before it. Sam, Jack, Teal'c, and Daniel will all have important things to do, which was another thing I was working out. Balance.
The AU backstory continues apace. It's a lot of fun to play around with what we 'know' happened.
I'm so seeing what people get out of writing long stories. It's tons of fun.
