Various and sundry:
Dec. 25th, 2004 11:54 pmOne of my Christmas presents to myself was another year of paid time and extra icons on lj.
I adore the inside cover of S7 of BtVS, which puts Xander and Anya right opposite Buffy and Spike. The relationships are very comparable. Also, it is blue and I am in love.
Almost all of the songs on my 25 Song Snippets Meme were guessed. Congrats to the guessers. You win... a very nice imaginary gold ribbon.
6. Please don't forget my past -- the future looks bright ahead.
Don't Be Cruel, Elvis Presley. I have about half a dozen of his songs on my list. I grew up to Elvis, because my dad's a huge fan. I've seen most of his (highly amusing and cheesy in the best way) movies and heard his songs so many times that I only have a few that I can still listen to with any regularity.
13. Be sure you try to climb before you get too scared you'll fall.
Believe in Yourself, sung by *NSYNC. I was pretty sure that no one would get this, but it was the first *NSYNC song that came up. They sang it when they appeared on Sesame Street. It's very cute.
24. And I'll remind you of the truth and keep the flame alive in you.
Soldier by Steven Curtis Chapman. This is a song that I came across in a fic actually. It was at the end of the fic, sorta a 'these are the songs that I was listening to while I wrote' type of thing. I thought the lyrics looks intriguing, so I dl'd the song and I just love it.
I was utterly unshocked by having a majority of 13ers on my flist. Thanks to everyone who participated in the poll, it really helped. You are all fabulous and I definitely do recommend the book Generations -- it's solidly researched and has interesting things to say.
