Some fic recs:
Dec. 24th, 2011 10:47 amFirst, I wanted to mention that
kradam_holidays and
tvd_holidays have, I believe, completed posting. Go there to see all the stories! A couple of them were written by me, which I will post in my journal in due course (when authors are revealed).
I had stories written for me, which is awesome. Thank you, anon authors! ♥
For Kradam: Dreaming Beside You; which is a sweet first time story. ♥
For Vampire Diaries: "Beginnings, middles, and endings (or three times Stefan Salvatore fell in love)", in which I got all three of the Stefan pairings that I mentioned liking. ♥
Also, I've been reading the Vorkosigan Saga and really enjoying it and I've also been exploring the fandom. I found a series that looked intriguing but it was set post-Memory, so I held off until I'd read that book. The series is Gregor/Miles and I found that intriguing - they had some great interaction in The Warrior's Apprentice, so I was interested in seeing what could be done to push that further. So, I finished Memory and ( cut for spoilers from Memory )
The series/universe is A Deeper Season (link goes to AO3); I read "A Deeper Season" proper first and then went through and read the series/universe in internal chronological order. It's a very emotionally satisfying series. The characters are sharply in character, the relationships are complex, and there are some really great plots in there, too.
