I was getting my hair done today and, while I was waiting for the bleach to process (I got in purple streaks, btw), I read an interesting article in (an older copy of) The New Yorker. It was about the dangers of the C.I. system - how it's so vital to the FBI and yet how it really gets abused, especially when you have ones who basically game the system by making friends out of their FBI handlers and then using those relationships in order to get away with crimes (or, well, you know... conning them).
