I adore that Ghost!Darla&Connor scene. First, because I really do believe that it's Darla. There's this moment when she looks at him and you just know that she's thinking, "He did
not get that denseness from my side of the family." She's such a mom with him. It's a real shame that he couldn't appreciate that. Second, because you really get a chance to see the mother/son resemblance and go 'wow' at the casting. Third, because Julie Benz is hot like a hot thing. Think heart of a star.
Such a tragic scene. It was easier for Connor to believe that his father hated him than that his mom loved him. And you can just see the agony and indecision dripping off him. And then he still chooses to help kill the girl.
Life for a life, and the way the final fight between Connor and Angel ended in
Home makes all kind of sense in the twisted karmic punishment way. Life for a life, death for a death. And the virgin's death did bring peace - it brought Jasmine and peace. Minds untroubled by an evil world. Minds untroubled by that pesky free will.
It's all rather fitting, in the end.
First, two Connor icons. If you want one of them, feel free to comment and claim one.

Right. Now to the actual point of the post. I made several Darla&Connor icons.
selenak has first pick and after that, other people can claim them if they want. Floor is open - icon limit is three.
( 7 Connor&Darla icons )Also, my Back in the Day challenge makes me want to cut off my typing fingers in sheer despair. I have no clue how in the world I can possibly write this.
It's totally going to be so much fun. This is such an impossible thing for me to write. Whee! I'm so glad! I'm going to learn and grow as a writer, yo.
And back on the Connor-thing, I'm really seeing parallels between Connor and Harry Potter. Connor's life was, of course, a total tragedy, but it's interesting.
