Made two new icons for myself.


That's the other new one.

My icons are shifting back to being Buffy-centered, which I find fascinating, personally.

Season Two Angel

Just bought the S2 DVDs. Immediately went to watch Reprise, as it's the only episode that season that I didn't get on tape (evil machine error).

And. Dude. The Angel&Connor parallels. Not exact, but... Connor felt that same hopelessness, only he never got the wake-up call. Maybe there was no way he could, way he was raised. Maybe.

And the Darla/Angel scene reminds me a bit of Cordy/Connor. The "it doesn't matter what we do now" aspect of the sex. Of course, it also reminds me of the Buffy/Spike S6 relationship.

And damn, this is a great episode. Depressing as all hell when viewed just by itself, but amazingly done.
