Thursday, July 10th 2003: Added Last Rites to Perfect Possible. Added icons in the following categories: BtVS: Buffy, BtVS: Other Characters, BtVS: Series/Group, BtVS: Tara, and BtVS: Xander.

Additionally, I've set up the format for reviews. Now all I need to do is finish filling it out.

I'm going to spend the morning (ye gads, is it really that early?) watching Welcome to the Hellmouth. Later, I must do some weeding for my mom, though. Also, I need to buy pants. And I should have done some of this yesterday, but yesterday I was all about sleeping in and enjoying pirates. I cannot regret this.

I'm trying to think of a plot for my Faithfic. I'm also going to try to be on aim later, so if you've written Faith, I'd love to be able to nab some help on finding her voice. Because there's this part of me that's rubbed raw by her. I suspect it's the exact same part that gets rubbed raw by Spike, who is the male version of her. Yet, I have written Spike pov, if only in a drabble so far.

Interview questions from [livejournal.com profile] minim_calibre. And, as she said in hers, if you want, you can comment to this post and I'll ask you five questions.

On a totally different note, is it widely understood that the first/second season of due South are better, quality-wise? I mean, I probably shouldn't take TWoP as that serious a source, but even the people there who enjoy third/fourth season more seem to think that the earlier ones were higher quality. I think that they had a different sensibility, partly because of the exec. producer change, but quality is such a subjective thing at times. Certainly, I'd argue that the supporting characters (especially the women) were given much more depth in the later seasons, which I think speaks highly of the overall quality of those seasons. And I do think that Fraser was wearing a bit of a protective mask in the earlier seasons, because the Fraser we see in the later seasons (especially Call of the Wild) very much resembles the Fraser of the pilot movie.

I just paid for another six months of lj. Mostly because I liked being able to have and change icons. And I just changed about 20-30 of my interests. I didn't have Connor on there!

A little while ago, [livejournal.com profile] elynross asked what people found interesting about Draco and Snape.

In explaining myself, I eventually went to the images that pop up in my head when I think of Draco (a little kid in a robe shop, chatting and being a miserable failure at being friendly. An eleven year old boy who was terrified of the Forbidden Forest and who was horrified at the sight of a dead unicorn. A child who, upon feeling himself insulted, immediately goes on the attack and insults right back). It was a fairly enjoyable exercise, so I'm extending to the Buffyverse. This isn't just going to be for the characters I like, since this is my way of explaining what I see when I look at each character. So, they won't all be nice images. If I missed someone that you want covered, please let me know.

I may do some of the others later, as it is fairly enjoyable to write that all down.

I've started writing my Faithfic story. I'm choosing not to do it in Faith's pov, because I get lost every time that I try.

On a totally different note, there was this rocker chick - Rachel Farris - who was being advertised on the 'twenty' commercial/feature thing before the movie yesterday. She's pretty. And her music wasn't bad (Not the Girl, I think it was). Then again, the pretty may be blinding me. That happens sometimes.

And now the reason that this is friended:
may be triggery )
