Life Goes On; Website update

You know, part of the reason that I love the due South finale (apart from the sheer slashy joy) is for the exact same reason that I adore the Buffy finale. It completes the journey that was started in the first episode while starting a brand new chapter for the main character.

Hey, that's part of why I like the ending of the Children of Dune mini-series.

Monday, May 26th, 2003: Added Point A to the new A Perfect Possible Future page. Added We Don't to Even Heroes (non-shippy fic). Added two BtVS fanfiction recommendations.

Damn, I used to be so... hard on myself.

Which I recognized. I did notice that I was being horrible to myself.

I'm looking at old journal entries: 2001 era.

And I expected so little. I mean, I was so pleased and surprised that someone (fox1013! Hey, baby!) IM'd me.

Interestingly, I still have many of the same... faults? that I used to. I just don't think that they make me a horrible, hopeless person anymore. I still order pizza and pop if I don't feel like cooking. I still adore reading. Honestly, I do still get a geeky buzz when someone IMs me.

But I don't think I'm pathetic anymore. Yay for me.

And hey, in 2001, I remembered ET. And that I hated it. Now, I have no memory of seeing the movie. Possibly that's for the best.

I was very volatile back then. Ups and downs like... something that goes up and down a lot. A yo-yo? Doesn't sound drastic enough. Well, maybe it does when Mandy sings about it. A yo-yo it is.

Aww... and I didn't think that I could write slash. Ha! Take that, low self-esteem!

Added Chiana/John to my interests...

Only one other person has that as an interest. Poor Chiana/John. I must support the 'ship extra hard.

Oh, this could get addicting.

I was reading through thebratqueen's older entries and came across a link to wes_visions_rpg. I'm currently reading through the entries. And becoming addicted. It's like crack.
