So, lj ate a story. Just... god, it's never going to be the same and I probably won't even bother trying to write it again because I'll always think the original was better. I suppose that it serves me right for writing the damn thing in lj in the first place, but it doesn't make it any less frustrating. Just. Fuck, you know? It's frustrating and I am ultra pissed at lj at the moment.

I get pissed when they eat my replies. I cannot imagine the pain you are suffering after working so hard on your story. Damn their eyes!

It was very frustrating, though, honestly, a lot of that frustration is directed at myself for not writing it all out somewhere else first. Grr, yeah?

Do you use an LJ client? It's very rare that they will eat posts. I recommend Semagic.

I have one on my computer, but was posting from another computer. Bad idea, clearly. I should've just written it out long-hand because now I just can't remember what I wrote.

I'm sorry. I know what that's like. I accidentally copied over my Prophecy Girl entry for Buffy's Diary and I was never able to finish it. As a writer, I think losing your work is the worst feeling in the world. :< But maybe you will write something even better next time, and it will be ok again.
