I've been thinking a lot about how Daniel would be affected by the reappearance of His Team But Not; it never occurred to me to think how, say, AU!Jack would think of Daniel.
Yeah, until I started writing these, I hadn't thought about it. But Jack is still ex-military and... Daniel in the past really did come across as kinda cold and dangerous. AP!Daniel, but with his energy focused toward a different goal.
