I really felt bad for Elizabeth when Sheppard overrode her authority. She looked so vulnerable, and she was really trying her best to be strong and do the right thing.
I'm glad you mentioned Teyla. I thought her body looked amazing, especially her legs. I loved how she was kicking Sheppard's ass (and Sheppard had no problem admitting it :))and then scolding him for not practicing. I thought that whole moment between them was great. I think she was annoyed that Sheppard didn't have more enthusiasm about being locked in the sparring room with her.
I think your thoughts on Maybourne and Jack are dead-on. I think by the end of the episode it was clear that Jack had grudgingly started to like Maybourne. I think that Maybourne has a serious crush on Jack, though. No matter how much Jack yells at him or berates him or sneers at him, Maybourne still wants his acceptance.
I reaaally want Jack to be a full-time part of the team again. It's just sad when he's left behind.
