Cadman is just a bad kisser.

Seriously, she does the 'just press lips hard' thing with Katie Brown and also with Carson. And it's suitably dramatic both times, without actually taking into account the possible reactions of the kissee. Cadman has seen too many bad movies -- she thinks it's all about the moment and not about the actual kiss.

It is a shame though, because we (the greater audience) know that David Hewlett can give better kissage (thinks wistfully of Century Hotel).

Can you imagine if DH had kissed PM like he did the guy in Century Hotel? Christ, large portions of the US bible belt would have spontaneously combusted.

You're so right and while I noticed it at the time, i hadn't put it inot words.

The brilliant thing is to have Rodney kiss Carson and have Carson be all amazed at how he was unmoved by Cadman-as-Rodney's kiss, but is left hot and bothered by Rodney's.
