And I found my first post about due South (August 4th, 2002).

Have just seen an episode of Due South.

And then I asked for fic recs and was immediately alerted to the glorious goodness of cesperanza. And for the record, the episode was Mountie on the Bounty.

You know, in retrospect, I am so impressed with the fact that I went to New York to see Joey Fatone in Rent. I heard that it was happening and decided that I would go. Period. And then I made it happen. Earned the money, talked my cousin into letting me stay with him, and just... made it happen. And the fact that I did that is probably what gave me the courage to go to VividCon last year.

A large part of the reason that I like things like tags (and memories) is that it gives me a chance to go back and look at who I was.

Who I was needed a really tight hug that she really wouldn't have accepted, that she wouldn't have been willing to believe that she deserved. I just wanted to feel happy, feel like I mattered. And no amount of hugs can make you feel that way when you don't. That's an inside job. Self-esteem has to be earned in order to be lasting.

Ah, Due South... I stumbled over it by accident on TV some years and was immediately intrigued. (It was the episode with Fraser and Ray II on the graveyard where Ray wants to know if Fraser finds him attractive. :-))
I think Fraser/Kowalski are one of the most canon slash pairings out there.
It also helps that there is great fanfiction for this pairing.

I do, pretty much, think of Fraser/RayK as canon (it would be hard not to, considering the evidence). The actors have wonderful, sparkling chemistry and the characters just work so well together.
