Dark Angel: Jensen Ackles! Squee!

I have now seen through Pollo Loco. I love the 'family' relationship between the X5 'kids'. It's really adorable. Zack and Tinga calling Max 'baby sis' and her calling Ben 'brother'. It's so cute.

Logan made me want to smack him a couple of times in Haven, because he's a silly and prideful man, but he always gets over himself in the end, so it's all good.

Max and Logan both hide the things that they're afraid will make them look weak (the poetry thing in Shorties was so cute. Aw!) -- they both keep secrets. But they also have each other's backs and they apologize whenever they've done shit that's ended up hurting the other person. They aren't afraid to give ground when they need to and they respect each other. So far, I find their relationship very realistic and enjoyable to watch.

Original Cindy continues to be amazing -- I really liked meeting Diamond and finding out that Original Cindy was once 'quiet' and 'shy'. It's hard to imagine. I was amused that Diamond was a little bit like Max. They even had a line that was nearly the same, about how stealing from a thief doesn't count as stealing.

Ben was a really well-done character and Jensen was perfect. I can see why they decided to bring him (Jensen) back in S2. And, wow, his description of 'the Good Place' was really emotionally moving, because it really did sound like a heaven that was invented not just by kids but by these specific kids. Where no one yells at you and no one disappears. I may have... had something in my eye at that point.

I really like this show.

You're rattling through 'em at a rate of knots now! The plotting in season one is really well done, with the continuity and psychological integrity of every character, even the guests ones, so consistent with who they are supposed to be. The X5 storyline works really well as we are given glimpses of more and more of the escapees. Ben's story is heartbreaking, and a fabulous turn by Jensen - he wasn't even asked to audition for his permanent role in season two, they just hired him and then hoped he'd be able to pull off the character they created!

I made a few Cindy icons in my new batch, especially for you - hope you like 'em. :)

Moving quite quickly, yes. And I'd be watching them faster if I weren't watching them with my roommate! I watched all of season one of Supernatural over the course of four days.

The plotting in season one is really well done, with the continuity and psychological integrity of every character, even the guests ones, so consistent with who they are supposed to be. The X5 storyline works really well as we are given glimpses of more and more of the escapees.

It really is very well put together! I'm impressed.

Ben's story is heartbreaking, and a fabulous turn by Jensen - he wasn't even asked to audition for his permanent role in season two, they just hired him and then hoped he'd be able to pull off the character they created!

Ha! Well, he really is just that good an actor. Jensen is spectacular. He gave his Ben enough depth that I can see why they trusted him to pull off whatever Alec is like.

Alec was the reason I watched Supernatural in the first place, because I remembered loving Jensen so much and wanted to see him in something new (never caught his turns in Dawson's Creek or Smallville). And the rest is history!

You have now reached the point at which Jensen Ackles took over my brain. He hasn't given it back since, the magnificent bastard. The writers and producers of DA actually loved working with him so much they specifically created the character of Alec just for him! He didn't know that, and thought they were doing some weird scifi thing and bringing Ben back from the dead or something, so when he got the first script for S2 and read it through, he got all confused and was like, "where's my character?" When he called one of the writers or producers to ask, they laughed and were like, "You're Alec, dude. You're part of the main cast now."

And oh man, you're reminding me that I really loved Logan during the first season. You know, before Jensen kidnapped my brain and all. :-p

I love Logan lots and lots. I don't know how I'll feel about Alec (except that I already know he's hot because... it's Jensen) because we haven't met yet, but I found Ben very heartbreaking.

Alec made the show for me in season 2 I mean him and Max played off each other so well. I also loved the episode with Ben, I got tears in my eyes too.

Dark Angel is a show I really love; I love Max and Original Cindy and might have shipped Max/Logan too. Ben's storyline kinda broke my heart and when TPTB brought Jensen back and gave us Alec, I was in heavel *g* I adore Alec's character and always enjoyed his interaction with Max and the rest of the gang.

Dude, I just saw Pollo Loco last night. Jensen made me want to die with squee. OMG freckles! And he's in a weird fucked up way trying to cling to his training when he no longer has a mission and trying to prove his faith and his worthiness and then he says "I'm a good soldier" with his trembly lip and oh! So! Much! Love!
