Personal: Turning Corners

I've been having some personal... issues lately. I'm not good at talking about this stuff, on or off-line. But I do feel comfortable saying that it's getting better now. Recently, things have taken a very positive turn and it's left me hopeful for the future.

Again, I want to apologize how long it's taking me to respond to comments.

It's hard to admit to caring or to open up, even harder to admit that... that there are people who care about me and what I think about things. That low self-esteem issue that I've been working on just keeps cropping up.

Readers of White Rabbits -- I'm re-reading the story tonight so that I can double-check on what I have so far, and my current plan is to post the new chapter on Sunday.

I'm also currently working on a new vid, a Buffy vid that focuses on Xander and Willow. It's going fairly well and I hope to finish it before next weekend, though I wouldn't suggest that anyone hold their breath.

I'm also writing a Rent story about Mark -- it's up to seven thousand words, and is likely to have a few thousand more before it's finished. It probably won't be done for a few weeks. It's a somewhat alternate take on the backstory of Rent -- everything in it complies with the canon that actually shows up on the stage/screen, but none of it follows the background info provided in the Rent book.

But, right now, my priority is the next chapter of White Rabbits.

I'd pretty much resigned myself to the fact that WR was going to become a member of the "Best WIPs that quietly died" hall of fame, so I'm all !!!!11!!!1 that you're going to continue it. I've got my own issues with opening up to people, and I hope your personal issues are resolved positively.
