I’m so upset to watch the episode but was that “contains one lie” Berens tweeted about?
Hmm, you know, anon, I’m… not sure… let me rewatch the promo. It’s definitely highly-misleading, for sure.
Oh, got it! They put ‘witches’ (gone wild) text over the faces of the three women who were forced to work in the brothel & there’s a “brothel of witches?” quote that is said by Dean (I think). So that’s the outright lie, none of those women are witches.

so you mean hannah as erica or new vessel back? or only in heaven? also before i watch the episode can you clarify on my dash i saw that hannah says cas has desires (for her) or something and cas didnt deny?
If Erica plays Hannah, then I’m guessing it would either be in Heaven or she’d get a constructed body like Anna & Cas did, because after what happened with Caroline & her husband, I sincerely doubt Caroline would say 'yes’ again. At least not without making Hannah promise to let her husband know what was going on and making it temporary.
I don’t remember that line specifically? Hannah talks about desires in general and how Caroline’s desire for her husband (and Caroline’s guilt and pain over Hannah hurting him) was so much stronger than what Hannah herself felt for Castiel, IIRC. I would need to rewatch the episode though. Regardless of what Hannah says, silence is not consent. Cas turned her down once; staying silent while she basically turns herself down in his place doesn’t constitute desire on his part.

1-2 I have a question of something I noticed and I’d like to have ur thoughts on it. Why does it seem like all of Cas sexual/romantic situation he’s ever been in, have never clarified Cas actual attraction? Like there is always there ambiguity or some other thing going on. Chasity: Dean, not Cas, dragging him to a brothel while Cas looks terrified. Daphne: while he had no memories and they had no sex. Meg: assault, rejecting to take things further when dean asks, being affected by Lucifers hell
Anonymous said:2-2 memories, debate if crush on her or not since stockholm/caretaker sydnrom-ish behaviour, 8x17 where Meg states he is her unicorn and wants to have sex with him Cas is left without giving us an answer. April: rape. Hannah: once again where Hannah feelings are being portrayed more clearly and Castiel’s aren’t confirmed or denied either direction, a kiss due to plan cause of carolines husband. idk what the writers are attemping? Code him as gay?
Yeah, I’ve noticed that pattern with Cas, too. I’m not entirely sure what the purpose of it is. But there’s definitely a pattern of other people forcing sexuality onto Cas and then taking his silence as acceptance.

idk if its my queer angst but i think its suspicious how quickly after having canonically acknowledged destiel they throw dean and cas into m/f scenarios. making it look more like 10x05 to be an “we see you and respect you but thats not the story we’re going to tell”
It remains to be seen how far they intend to take their endgame, but I don’t begrudge anyone their queer angst, obviously. I understand your worries. I think in this case it’s mostly coincidence? We already knew Hannah had a thing for Cas, and dealing with that in the same episode we had Dean throwing himself back into the swing of sex (or attempting to), makes sense when considered with the mirroring they’ve been doing with Dean and Cas all season so far. So, idk, anon. I feel like they’ve gone so far that forcing themselves to end on subtext would feel unnatural, but I am not in the writers’ room (sadly? happily?).

if you think hannah isnt done yet does that mean you think cas and hamnahs romance is going to be a future point maybe in the second half of the season?
My first impulse is “lol no”. Which… remains my second impulse. This episode established that, whatever it was Hannah felt for Cas, her feelings were a candle next to the feelings Caroline felt when she saw her husband. So… I’m going stick with “nah”.
