This is so incredibly intimate. I'll admit to having read lots and lots of Obi-Wan/Anakin porn, but I don't know if any one of them come close to the vulnerability or intimacy or the sheer emotional significance you show here.
Wow, thank you! It helps that I've had some time to build towards it, I think. It took 45,000+ words to get to this point. And I just adore SW for inspiring me to write so much -- this has been such a wonderful fandom for me to play in so far.
My favorite part: Obi-Wan wasn’t entirely sure what to do, to be perfectly honest. He’d shared his bed with a few people, but none of them had been Anakin. None of them had mattered, certainly not in this shaking, bone-deep way.

There's something ironic? odd? fitting? sweet? that Obi-Wan lets himself be fondled by the symbol of his failure as a teacher.
